Wolf in sheep’s clothing as we said for an enemy who are disguising as a friend. This picture will be appropriate to describe what happen when you surf the Internet and suddenly see a warning, with the message “your computer infected with the virus. Click here to receive the latest software anti-virus”.
Be careful! That warning is the new threat for computer users named scareware.
Basically, scareware is an evil program (software) that pretends to be anti-virus software, which surely wants to get access to your computer.
This programs pretend to search the virus and usually also found the virus in the computer. Software then praised himself as the right solution for your computer.
There are many different variants of scareware. The most dangerous type is the scareware that encourages users to buy the program on what actually is un-useful software.
Other scareware can be more dangerous, because such programs can apply Trojan horse which opening the back door for illicit access to the infected system scareware.
Not easy to drive out these uninvited guests. The computer virus can go further into your computer.
In many cases, the registration system will be changed so that users do not have any choice other than re-installing the whole operating system.

Hmm, isn’t that a new name for rogue security programs? Last year was the time when dozens if not hundreds of those scams hit the web. XP Antivirus, Antispyware Master and lots, lots others.
Sadly, I know people who fell for the scam and actually paid for licenses to “unlock” the software. Wasted money, time and often unrepairable Windows.
